Day at 'The Tash' home

Art fills the corners of her home, created by Scott Hale (Stolen Cheese)

My sisters super side and Scotts villain side.

Three huge canvas' line the walls in her house, created by Scott Hale.

The Best Bathroom ever...(I can't wait to have a room like this!)

These pics not done by Scott Hale, but funny.

Is this what has become of my sister's ex's? Scott, be careful...she must shrink heads and display them proudly!!

Just so you know, you can make a pretty well rounded meal with Mac n cheese! The fun never stops when Auntie is there!!

Blessings!

  1. What a great house to stay in while the residents are 300 miles away trying not to get killed in a mosh pit! Macaroni and cheese is delicious!

As much as Scoochie and I would love to take credit for all of the wonderful things you show, we feel it would only be fair to make sure all artists get proper credit for their work. So, here goes:

Even though we initially tried to make you believe that Scott did the Etch-a-Sketch, he didn’t. We can be such kidders! CreativePal is an etsy seller who makes tons of super cool stuff that you can buy, including Etch-a-Sketch portraits from your photograph. So yessiree, that is Scoochie and yours truly, but we bought the thing for about 40 bucks on Etsy. I just know where to find the COOLEST stuff!

The two dog portraits are actually both Blue; the one on the left was painted by the highly esteemed artist Brittany Hale several years ago (from her Blue period), and the one on the right was painted by William Scott Hale. The art quilt in the center was actually done by a well known artist, Cindy Hamming, who is a frequent visitor to our house. I believe you are familiar with some of her work? And if you blow up the picture you can see some of my favorite things – an apothecary jar full of screaming monkey heads and a lighted skull bowl full of yarn. Since it wasn’t dark when you took the picture I don’t imagine you can tell that the skull bowl lights up though…

The Batman and Jabba the Hutt throwing up pictures were another etsy purchase, from LegendaryTigerHero. He also has ET throwing up, which I hope to someday add to the collection.

If you enlarge the picture of the “random collection on the wall”, you will see two more art pieces by Scott; the three guys (one of my favorites), and the original picture for our Christmas card this year.

It doesn’t show up too well in the picture, but the man tree has a garland on it called the “vice” garland. It has tiny women in bikinis, dice, martinis, machine guns, and a pack of smokes. These guys are all bad news, and they deserve to have their heads impaled on a miniature tree.

And last but not least – the little bearded man is not Jesus, it’s Saint Adrian, the patron saint of Butchers, Arms Dealers, and PRISON GUARDS!

I LOVE the pictures and sincerely appreciate the kid/dog/cat watching!

    Love,
    Sis

  2. Has Tasha really had that many ex's? That's a lot of heads on the tree, impressive. Though I do have quite the collection of horror movie bad guys, it is impossible for me to have a villian side while being a super hero do-gooder. I am a big fan of the Hypnoheatha blog. I have learned to become one with the universe and it has increased my super powers significantly.

    Peace out! Stolen Cheese forever!

  3. So as not to be thought of (or forgotten)as the silent family member I shall add my 2 cents, I like this blog for all its pictures portraying ALL the talented people that make me smile and I love the upside down grandchildren.
